are there any routes avaliable at the moment or routes that are currently being created that run over teh south wales main line?
I have got the Bristol to Newport route and this is very good but was just wondering if there are any that go on to Cardiff and beyond?
Thanks

Be aware that v1.1 will install an old version of Tsection.dat to your system. You can replace this old version with any later version.
Version 2.0 of Swansea - Carmarthen, set in period 1950 - 1960 and using UKFS, is currently in production (and has been for a long time

) and nearing completion. Should be released this year unless KRS makes an appearance sooner rather than later.
I can post some of the latest screenshots if anyone is interested.

John, please do! I'd love to see what work you have done since the original release. Funnily enough I dug this route out the other day as I haven't played it in a while and I still loved it! (MInd you being from that part of the world helps!)

2 screenshots not shown before. 1st one is Cockett Station looking west. The 2nd shot is Gowerton North looking east. I think that UKFS track really does the biz. KRS will need to match this at least.

IMHO John this looks more interesting than KRS (thanks for the screenshots) ....unless that is you've sunk to IGA...?
Seriously, and this goes for all developers, please don't give up because of KRS! It's still a "pig in a poke" and even if it is released without IGA and surpasses ALL our expectations it won't have five years of modelling and add-on development behind it.
I for one will not be ditching MSTS until developments in technology make it unrunnable. Any future sim will be just an additional programme until it can surpass everything that MSTS has produced.
South Wales was a unique area seeing locomotives specifically designed for the traffic in the area. It's too important to not have.

V.1. One of the first add-on routes I downloaded from this site.
Chris.
P.S. Any more shots of V.2 John?

Swansea v1 was one of my first downloads from UKTS, too. Very exciting as I had lived in Swansea for 3 years and my folks still live there, not far from Landore depot. I remember being astounded by how accurate the route was. Great job, John.

Here is the same depot in v2.
Note the 2nd engine shed and the correct position of the coaling stage.
