NWE 2.1

Post by ArthurC »

Hell Folks

Happy New Year and may it be good for you all.

I recently purchased the new CD for this route and I have noticed there is a Patch available for download. I have tried to download this but it will not download as a ZIP file and when I look at the folder it just says Patch File.
Has any body else had this problem or do I even need the Patch.

Also can anybody advise me which file I need to make a change in so as overhead wires show. I did have this some months ago but my memory has let me down. {Must be getting old} LOL Any advice /help greatly appreciated.

All the best, Regards
Arthur

the patch should come as a zip file: UKTS_15561_NWE_V2.1_Patch_1 unzip this and it gives NWE_V2_patch#1 doble click on it should install.

Overhead wires should show unless turned off, when opening TrainSim go to 'options' .. 'advanced' and click them on

Hi Arthur
I've just downloaded this and you're right. However unzip it to a temp folder and you get the patch.exe to use.

Hi

Still no joy with the Patch file, I still cannot get it to be a Zip file to open.
I have reset the the wire height, reading another thread gave me the clue. You can set this height in the route TRK file.
Best Regards Arthur

Hello Folks

Managed it at last with the Patch file. I disabled my download manager and lo and behold it downloaded with the zip extension and is now installed. Best Regards Arthur
