A/E crashes when trying to save consits
still 'saves' them but get the dreaded 'problem and closing down' works fine except for this, have to reopen to continue.. got used to it and 'save' the activity before going into consits ed, but still annoying

Hi
I believe this is an old problem , its caused by an item of faulty stock.
Do you have any stock checking utilities?
If not you'll have to look back through what you've installed before the problem started.
Cheers

mmmm.mmmm
gosh it seems to be a reoccuring problem solved only by reinstalling but its a pain.. I have route riter and train store etc, and spend hours checking and correcting things.. can the A/E on its own be reinsalled? I cant find what file it is in MSTS
But I have added heaps of routes and stock lately

Hi
No thats what I'm trying to tell you..........I don't think its a problem with AE.
You can test by storing everything except a default route with default stock.
Then run AE....if it still crashes then its something else.
Bit late now...but always install one thing at a time, preferably into a safe location where you can check it.
Cheers
