My SANTA-FE HST which can do up to 2000 mph is great for testing the tracks of long routes like my 900 miles GOLD-SPIKE route I am working on, the AMD 64-BIT X2, an ATI card and WD SATA Raptors coping well with those speeds !WSR2005 wrote:If you go above 2500-3000mph your computer won't be able to render the scenery so you'll be flying with white all around. It's an AMD 64-BIT Dual Core 4800+, but a faster 512 Mb RAM graphics card like an ATI X1900XT and fast hard disks like the 10000 rpm WD Sata Raptors do more for improving graphics performance in MSTS, which needs to access the hard drive a lot.seern1 wrote:Is that x2 a ?????+. I am seriously thinking for replacing my current 64 3200+ with an x2.
Thanks for that heads-up !bhyde wrote:And some great models on that website, well done Chris!
This is the one I had anticipated, but I dont know why, when I try to download it, I get left with http://www.christrains.nl/ and no download takes place, is there an alternative way to do thisbhyde wrote:Try the JV1 jet test train by Chris Longhurst for some extremely fast fun.

Having just been to Amsterdam I was interested to look up Chris's site and my old link wouldn't work. This link works but when I click on the downloads I get a screen with a clock and a column of boxes with little red crosses in. Is the download fetaure still working? It might be my security level but it works for 95% of sites?OTTODAD wrote:Thanks for that heads-up !bhyde wrote:And some great models on that website, well done Chris!
The last time I talked to Chris he was saying that he is working on rolling stock for KRS and did not realize that this MSTS rolling stock web site is still alive !![]()
