Splash Screens

Post by pendolinofan »

Hi,
In another forum I have seen someone who has converted screenies into MSTS splash screens. How do you do this, and how can you convert photographs?

search 'MSTS SPLASH SCREENS IN GOOGLE'
If you don't have Photoshop, A surprisingly good alternative is Adobe/Macromedia flash!!

Have a look in Miscellaneous/Background Menu Screens in the UKTS download library for inspiration. All you need is a picture file in .bmp or tga format, convert it to a .ace file, and give it an appropriate filename, and place it in the Train Simulator\GUI\SCREENS folder.

Thats all there is to it (in a nutshell anyway) 8)
