Hi everyone,
Any idea where I can get ECML timetables (up to 1982), specifically Deltic diagrams between KX & York?. I want to run to authentic times on MSTS East Coast Express.

If you can find one, the October 2006 issue of 'The Railway Magazine' had some ECML timing logs in its Practise & Performance article about The Talisman express. The logs include schedules and/or actual times, and speeds at numerous timing points for specific runs of that express on the ECML. The runs are:
KX to Edinburgh with an A4
KX to Grantham with a Deltic
as above with a Brush type 4
KX to Darlington with a HST
Fascinating stuff: I found the ECE's HST had no trouble keeping to time, and will have to have a go with Mallard against some of these schedules.
