Coming Soon

Post by SteelixB »

I've been quietly working away on a class 91. I've created the whole train set - Class 91, MK4 standard, first class and restaurant, DVT. Anyone in favour of a reversed class 91?

I'll also be releasing V1.1 of my pendolino, with 3D lights like on Chris Longhurst's Eurostar, improved pass. view and hopefully a cab, if anyone would like to make one. I've just noticed (I'm blind as a bat) that the standard class of the pendolino has both red and blue seats like the voyager. I think I'll also change the name on the nameplate too and renumber the pendolino but I can't choose what to call it. Choose from the names in the poll, however these are just 3 names, if you know any more please state these.

When these are done I don't have anything else planned. What would you like me to create next? I don't do Steam or old DMU's or EMU's. I only make modern Electric like The class 91, modern DMU's or modern EMU's.
Infact the only things I make usually have style, unlike the 142 I made, which is an exception. I am thinking of doing a 332 or 333 but it looks quite complex.

Ben, I chose Mission Possible

Also, I was on a Voyager yesterday, and from what I could tell the seats are both, Red and blue, it it appears that its depending on the way they face.
ie All seats facing one way are blue, and all facing the back are Red.

I like Enterprise :)

Ben, would second generation EMU's be modern enough for you? if so how about 313 to 318 range or the later classes introduced during the 80's.

Or even the remodelled 365 with the 'smillie' style front end, (as long as Buffy doesnt mind me asking of course )

N one has to ask me for anything, even if I'd started such a class.

Not another class91 :-? .

We already have james hunts model and goingnorth is about to release his. I don't have anything against 2 models, but it would of been better to do something like a class92 or class90.

How about a 175. They are modern and you could use a car from your 180 set as a centre car.

I have used the NSE textures from Buffy500's class 465 and I won't release the NSE 465 / 365 without permission to do so. Is it OK?
as with modern trains, trains such as the 150 or similar.

Are you all sure you dont want another 91?

I'd like the 91 please. James' model was a pioneer but the coaches are a tad too short, and time has moved on. Seeing as you've done the work, upload it and let others decide whether to download it or not.

And I'm not decrying James' work there - far from it as he's the only one so far to have bothered making AC electrics which I enjoy throwing around the NE corridor.

Ultimately it's down to individual modellers to decide what they want to make or not. Those of us who haven't the bottle/technology/inclination to indulge in the demands of 3d modelling shouldn't whine if two people decide they want to make something to share - for free - with the rest of us.

I'm looking forward to upgrading my computer kit so I can make some stock and God help anyone who offers anything other than constructive criticism when I start.

I'd like the 91! That is a stunning model, looks exactly like em! The greyhounds of the East Coast need representing! More power to your mouse, Steelixb!
Spearmint
Romance! The season tickets mourn,
HE never ran to catch his train,
but passed with coach and guard and horn,
and left the local, late again!

Confound Romance, and all unseen,
Romance brought up the 9:15!
