It is suprising the amount of negativity on this route so far.
Ah well.
I have seen pics of Horsham etc and it looks great.
The have included the monorail at Gatwick too.
They said in the past that they may extend this route too to other parts.
I guess as it is my local line, is why I am looking forward to it too.

I think the ONLY negative point would be the lack of compatability with existing activities - there are a lot of them and many are excellent.

michaelhendle wrote:Not sure yet if I will be buying it as I already have London to Brighton + the addon pack, also Brighton - Portsmouth.

Seems just another way of geting extra money out of people who have the other two routes, like they did with ECE, they released part 1 and then within a few weeks released part 2.

I'm not sure what the new stock is, I think there are just 3 items?
I have seen it, run it, its fantastic. Stock:

 Class 319 EMU
 Class 377 EMU “Electrostarâ€

The 960 is a departmental piece of stock, LBE /WCW already had 4 Cigs slam door stock. And there was a 319.

The addon pack had a cl31,33,375,377,455,456.

London to Brighton. a South Central 377, Thames Link/South Central cl 319 and South Central 455.

Brighton - Portsmouth. Southern 375,Southern cl 421, Southern Yellow 421,Network South East cl 421.

Total number EB activities for the 3 packs 60 activities.

All we get with this new one seems to 1 unit,if you have the 3 packs, a bit of a new route and a lot less activities.

The stock list I've given was taken from the 3 cd cases.

I've a feeling this is going to be a no no for me, as these 3 packs cost me over £60.00. doesn't seem to be worth another £24.00.

21 Activities, 60 plus stations, the route is transformed and looks great. 130 miles of track.
Best Wishes

I will not be buying it because:
  • The stock is boring, no locomotives
I don't know this line at all
There will no freight activities for this route
    Only commuter services are included
    It isn't worth another £24

Blimey some of you lot do moan.
I think most of it is because of a dislike of EB.
It really does annoy me when members put other people or products down.
This new route as stated is an extension with the arun valley line.
Think of the potential for activities.
They couldnt put the original activities on I think that is obvious.
They couldnt put 60 activities on in one go (Come on)
21 activities is excellent imo.
The original LB only had 15 anyway.
If some of you cant be bothered to shell out £20 or maybe you cant afford it then stick to freeware.
Commercial came first before freeware remember.
Without it we probably wouldnt have got freeware.

Like i have already said I have seen screenshots etc and the line between Horsham and Balham is quite big.
IMO this is a route worth getting.
If you dont fancy it fair enough, but it is wrong to shun it when you know nothing of it.
I know the line and I know that is why I am getting it,and I know how fantastic LBE was.
As for stock tell me what other stock could they possibly add as there really isn't much more that was already used on LBE,WCW etc.
Maybe you would likle steam

Sorry to rant Im just annoyed with the negativity of something that hasn't even been tried by anyone yet.

The potential of this big route is open for expansion as already stated by EB.
£16.99-£19.99 as stated is very much worth it.

Hi Mike
I cannot see it in the BAs list on Ebay.?
Also can I ask whether the £12.99 versions of the Southern are fully patched versions?
Cheers
