Where's IKB?

Post by qzdcg8 »

Anyone heard from IKB recently - I notice he's only posted once in the last 3 weeks - the forums are lacking their usual zing with him not around!

He has been getting more and more active in the forums at 'another place'.

I think he took offence when I called him a Welsh windbag and hasn't been seen since.

It's up to him to come back Steve, but I doubt if he will.

Very seriously for once.

I've heard from him and I can only say its a very personal matter .... he might reply to a PM if its a serious subject.

If its not then now isn't a good time .... believe me on this one.
Cheers

Really? That's a shame. He always came across as someone who could rise above all that sort of thing. I must admit, some of his anti-English stuff wound me up sometimes, but I'd sooner he was here with us, than deciding to call it a day in here.

Come back IKB... most of us miss you mate...

I think you should all read this:

Hope this clears up a few things. Topic closed?

Just for the record I think IKB should come back if he wants. IMHO he opened himself up (like we all do at times) to flak concerning Welsh nationalism. Hey, the bloke has a Welsh flag as part of his avatar!

He certainly should be getting the hump because of one or two people, especially as the two he seems to have a problem with are as harmless as they come really... :)

From time to time members will go 'missing' for all manner of reasons which do not appear obvious and are private.

I'm very sure Mike (IKB) will be back with us in time and I posted last night to try and deflect the misunderstanding that has occurred and support a fellow member who has been posting here and at TSF since the beginning.

I hope he doesn't mind me saying this but its nothing to do with the site.

Regards

John

Sometimes we forget that people have lives outside ukts and msts in general and sometimes, just sometimes, our own private lives have to come first (not too often I hope).

John, thanks for letting us know. I look forward to IKB's return.

Martin

In his absence I'll post "Cymru am byth."

I can't help feeling that i may have been one of the reasons he left, and it saddens me greatly. I hate upsetting people, and i really don't go round trying to, i do hope he comes back, then maybe we can patch things up.

Thank you Peter and John, for your integrity with regards to keeping what you knew private.
I originally left the forum, due to the bickering.During that time my dad was admitted to hospital with a heart attack (july 3rd).Over the following week he suffered three further heart attacks and died on july 10th.

He was laid to rest on Thursday (18th) and now, like everyone else who experiences a family death,i intended to carry on as best i can,for not only my mother and sisters sake, but also for my own 5 children.
With the aim of getting back to some kind of normality as soon as possible.

Thanks to all the kind friends who emailed me their sympathies.

best wishes,
Mike.
