Re: Hornby
Perhaps you should use my version of TSM as when it write's Eng files they have no smoke effects listed and they still work. If you like next time I produce an engine I could send a copy of the eng file over to you, that should work. Does your engine have a tension lock coupling?trainmad wrote:I am trying to create a steam engine with no smoke effects, to be like a hornby engine. i have tried deleting the steam effects, but i get an error.

Hi, not sure how to delete the smoke effects. But a while back some of us were discussing the ideas of tension lock couplings fitted to locos !!! I think it was eddief who even went to the trouble of making one. What project do you have in mind then ?

duckweed said Why not just change the position of the smoke in the eng file. Set it as far away in all directions and you will probably not see it. It may even be possible to set it below ground.

i'll try that. Oh and how do yuo get a quote?

Re: Ideas
Yes it is me, I fitted a tension lock coupling to a GWR 3,500g tender. I will release a model of it with the coupling and a set of rolling stock to go with it.larrylane wrote:. Here you are Trainmad take a look at this

This is the thread and the screenshot of the GWR tender with tension lock coupling. It should prove enjoyable to you
I am hoping to make an old hornby type, a new hornby type and both types made by Bachmann to put on my models for some fun (perhaps I should put 1 on Hogswart Castle when I do my hall
