LSE Route causes MSTS to Crash when loading.
Hey,
Just tried to open the LSE route in the MSTS Route Editor and it crashed, now when the route is in my Routes folder it makes the game crash when loading. So basically ive messed this route up and dont have the files to reinstall them.
Anyone got any clues to this?

Hi
Try installing an uptodate global Tsection.
If you need to delete a route you can just delete (or just move it out) the xxxroute folder from your routes folder....then msts should start.
but don't do it with stock...or you'll get errors.
Cheers

I think there's two seperate issues here. Firstly, I agree with JB that an old Tsection file may be the cause of the route crashing so download the latest. Second problem - the LSE route is very large so try turning down some of the settings in Activity Editor, such as siding names etc. Also try running it in 16 bit mode at a screen resolution of 1024x768 (AE seems to prefer this and definately doesn't like 32 bit colour). See if LSE will load into AE with these settings.

And the Tsection.dat replacement worked
Though i already had the 34 version installed.

Just to say, the settings that Ashley recommended, are for all of the editors, and not just AE, or RE.ashgray wrote: Sorry - mis-read thatbut I think the route editor behaves in much the same way when it comes to settings. If you are tempted to try again, I'd still recommend using the settings I mentioned.
