I'd love to know how long he has been on with that as I've never seen anything of it untill now. Thanks Mark, you've saved me the trouble of doing it (means I can concentrate on my warship).

I put the picture up about a month ago, I was wondering how long it would take to get spotted... probably not very clever of me, i'm doing some more 40's then a 37 (perhaps two...), after that I will try and finish off the Western.

Mark 'the man' is a genius.

As a diehard 'deltic' fan I am really looking forwards to the maybach roar.

Mark, I know you are 'snowed' under now you are back working again and no doubt overdoing it on here, but have you considereddoinga blue version of the green 40 double header as D210/233, the pair of immaculately turned out 40's that were used for the POW investiture back in 1969 or thereabouts.... They'd be ideal for your expertise....

No problem! I recall a picture of them many years ago but haven't a clue where though it was almost certainly rail mags of the time. Basically, they were painted immaculately in BR blue with white wheeltrims and shiny nameplates and still had the numbers 210 and 233. If I find a copy I will let you know. Its just that they were the only ones I recall with the gangway in situ!

OK thats enough info to make a start... I think I will make this the last request, or I might end up doing all 200 and never get onto the 37.

Perhaps if we make it to the NVR then we could try for a photorealistic model of 40106 in it's current quise :)
