Where's Tosca gone???

Post by martinhodgson »

I notice that whoever kept posting posts with the sidnature 'Tosca says...' has either not posted anything recently, or changed it.
Bring it back (Please... They were funny), Or I'll put a picture of my (very fat) rabbit up with the 'Tosca says' changed to 'Bungee says...' And yes, I do have a rabbit called Bungee.

Oh, and I'm dead happy :D , 'cos I've broken up from school!!!

I told You so...

Oh, and he really does eat dead leaves. He's eaten all the living ones, and can't reach the rest.

Unfortunately Tosca was chased down the High street by Basil and never seen again...allegedly...

Which is a great shame cos the cat was a stand-up act in itself....Some of the comments were priceless.

Basil absolutely refutes any suggestion that he has chased Tosca off, though he has in fact chased a cat up the side of a house onto a roof... :) Definitely not Tosca though as Basil quite likes that puddy! :)

Ah so it was just a scurrilous rumour! he he :)

Maybe Tosca just got fed-up with doing stand-up and is having a rest ready for the next Edinburgh festival :) :)

Well, Tosca lived far too close to Melton Mowbray for feline safety's safe.

So s/he could well be on the way to a supermarket shelf near you any day now :(

Tell us it ain't so, Martin.

My previous rabbit (Whiskers) fell foul of that TV vet Steve Leonard in Lancaster - He got meningitis and had to be put down  (Thats the rabbit, not Steve Leonard). That was about 4 year ago, before Leonards fame in programmes other than Vets in Practice.
Bungee is the replacement- He is worth two of Whiskers (Well, in body mass...) :) . Not really :D

Well the "Tosca says..." thing had been going on for a while and I was running out of stuff for her to say. And it was kind of hard not to use her as a political tool if you get my meaning - taking pot shots at people via her was a big temptation. So I thought I'd get rid of the temptation! Plus, to be really honest I thought these forums were getting just a bit too laid back and wacky so I thought I'd sober my image up a bit. And M&SWJ #12 is a very nice loco.

Not many peeps said how much they liked her when she was around so I thought she was getting old hat. Who knows, she may poke her head around the virtual door-jamb of UKTS in the future?

That's a lesson for us all - "you don't know what you've got till its gone"!

I know, I'll start a "bring back tosca" campaign.

Bring back Tosca

Post by larrylane »

I allways found myself looking for the words of wisdom too. Infact i used to get a bit dissapointed when they were not updated too. I also feel that the forums should be laid back and slightly wacky as its good to have a relaxed atmosphere.

Absolutely - at least then you get to know more about the people in here. Otherwise it would be as dry as some of the other sections in the forum which tend only to be frequented by the 'serious' simmer... :)

Bring back Tosca! Bring back Tosca!
The words of wisdom from the feline philosopher (hope I've spelt that right) cannot be beaten, certainly not from my 6 bundles of mischief.
Philosophy they know nothing about, destroying the house, well, thats a different matter entirely.... :o
