If you are interested in foreing rolling stock and routes, maybe you like http://www.trensim.com/panorama (updated weekly).

And you can also practise languages.

If you right click on a blank part of the page a drop down menu appears. At the bottom is "Translate Page into English" Click on this and you will get an English translation, often unintentionally funny.

I don't see that in the menu. Maybe, it only works if you have installed some automatic translator (hilarious, of course). :)

I use XP Home and am on AOL. Don't know whether that is significant

Quite possibly. Right click on IE6 and the bottom entry is "Properties"...unless you have a language plug-in that adds to the right-click option list.

The translate option is part of the google toolbar.

Now I remember, I have the Google toolbar, but did not know that it was activated. It is a useful addition even though the translations can be very stilted

If you go to trensim.com and leaving out the panorama part. there you will find the word english click on that and it comes up in english.It's on the top right hand corner looking at the screen
