Hi

I'm assuming from what you say that you have a widescreen monitor.

There should be an option to change this in your video setup (I did with my notebook in the Nvidia setup). You need to select a fixed ratio I think, so that whenever a program needs a different screen ration to the standard widescreen one, it changes automatically.

Cheers

Or you can run MSTS in a window, which is what I do on a 1280 x 800 display, using a 1024x768 window.

Create a desktop shortcut to the train.exe program, and alter the properties by adding -vm:w,1024,768,32 at the end of the line for the target.

You should have somewhere in the controls for your TV, perhaps only accessible through the remote, a facility for changing the screen format. For instance on my TV I can choose,
Full Screen
Wide Screen
standard
4/3 aspect ratio and
Zoom

Though I have no idea what Zoom does.
Some TV programs are transmitted in different formats from others particularly if you are runnng a Freeview program

Hi, when using a widescreen lcd tv I have to set the screen to 4:3 to get a properly scaled MSTS reproduction - using widescreen mode just stretches everything!
