I like any route, my faves are probably anything with mainline AC power though.

UK - tearing up the West Coast and East Coast mainlines with 25k volts under me, travelling over 100mph.

I do however enjoy freight activities on NWE2 when I'm in a take it easy mood. :)

ianmacmillan, this is not another pointless poll. This poll was designed to for 13 days, in the results would be used to help build popular freeware routes.

It depends what forum you ask on. A British forum will say British add-ons, a German forum will say German add-ons and so on.

Does it have rails?

If so, I'll probably take a passing interest...
If it goes chuff, I'll be more interested...
If it has Royal Blue engines and teak coaches, I'm definitely interested.

other than that, I'm happy chugging diesels around, with some interesting freight runs,
I'll take the occasional high-speed electric passenger run somewhere interesting - the NEC is so tedious it's not true, but some of the German routes are nice
Australia is different, anyway,
New Zealand looked pretty
India might be fun for a change...

We all have different tastes - what turns me on will probably be anathema to someone else. You won't go far wrong with interesting lines, good scenery and scope for plenty of activities. Unless you're striving for historical accuracy, interest is what keep people coming back.
