I believe you can let it install over the top of the existing route folder.

And there's some cracking new activities to boot...

Arrrh ...........that explains it....Ron has put 'downloads'...indicating that the route is available freely from the library....not the case then.

Definitely a CD update - http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 8&start=26 and a good update it looks with extra activities and track and a top up of my premium membership as well. Can't see a downside to this one at all.

Kindest regards

Hi Ron
Yes a quick 20Mb or so addon would have worked OK, I would have thought.
Can't see the point in re-installing all the stock again.

Depends on how much of the stock was withdrawn from circulation though. Burton Derby was one of the affected CDs. There is little point is patching original CD installs since when new activities are created they need to only reference available stock as per the current CD. That has been discussed at length elsewhere on the forums where some activity writers prefer to use only the stock on the CD.

Quite a bit of stock was affected as far as I know, plus scenery on the route, it damaged just about all the activities as well which is why Don opted to just built a completely new stock pack and write all new activities for it.

Hi there

You may have to uninstall the original version as the test version I have been using carries the same BD1 name as the original.

or

you coulld re-you re-title the original route to BD1_OLD and back it up into a seperate folder
and do likewise to the trainset Trainset_ BD1_OLD.

This would be quite easy if you DON'T use Trainstore.

If you use trainstore, another set of rules would apply, if someone could help me out here please as I do no know how to use trainstore.
