hi guys

i have sume nore BB .eng files hear, i think i have inproved on the last ones i had a go at, there is still a little to much Hp above 22mph.

i have tested them over a simulated 1.832% 22mile grade whitch it should have done at 22mph, actual avrage speed for the 22miles was 20.9mph.

i keeped the speed, fireing and steem rates constant to simulate a long climb ware you dont wont to losse speed when adding water to the boiler or losseing to much heat out of the fire when coaling the boiler.

the files are hear

Hi there

Thanks for pointing out the username prob bj. I think fodda has it covered though.

I think that fodda has been getting it quite right all along, as have most other people. This engine is a bit different though, aint it. Just one thing, when the speed is up to where you want it, throttle down, about 27 to 30% oughta do it. Don't move the reverser from 33 or 34%, control your speed with the throttle from then on.

Anyone noticed that this loco goes very quiet above 90mph.
