Does anyone have any route suggestions for me to try with the Class 43 HST (Intercity 125 Livery)?

I have looked around in the route database and I am not sure what to download.

You could run a HST on the highland Mainline, as they did the 'Highland Cheiftan' service from Inverness to Kings Cross (the route only goes as far as Perth)

Alternitavley there is ECE, parts 1 & 2, both avalible from the CD ordering section only, which goes from Kings Cross as far as York atm. There is also Mideast UK which runs from Kings Cross as far as Redford, but this is about to be superseeded by MidEast plus :P

I'm sure there are more, but there the only ones I know of

Cheers...

Robert :D

Hi

There is Thames Mersey (Merseyside Railways) and North West England (NWE) . On Thames Mersey you can go from Euston to L'pool or Manchester.
Hope this helps.

Thanks...I will look into those routes.

Are there any routes that run from South Wales to London (Paddington) as well?

Been on that route in real life way back, before BR was taken over by FGW.

West Coast diversions over the S&C? One of the greatest sounds I've ever heard on the railway was a HST accelerating from a stand over the Ribblehead viaduct!

nice idea - but the MSTS S&C is hardly detailed; I certainly never use it for anything now...!

There's also Dorset Coast between Basingstoke and Poole.

There Scottish Central between Edinburgh and Dundee/Falkirk Grahmaston.

On SC, you can reach Glasgow Queen Street as that happened in BR days.

Simon, the new Dorset Coast can allow you to travel from Poole to Reading via Basingstoke.

Modern England runs from Cardiff to Kings Cross.
This is a fictional route though.
