Hi,
Having just solved one error with a keys problem which seems to be happening with new PC's and MSTS. Another one now !!!
I have got exactly the same installation Routes, Consists, Activities, ect as I had on my old machine running with no problems for 3 years. The latest version of Route Riter has checked everything with no errors and yet I am now getting the Region Load Error. I have checked any usual causes for this according to the many posts on the subject and have none of them. The only difference is I am now running at best graphics settings on my new machine. My old machine could only manage about three quarters on the slider for this purpose.
Puzzled again
Regards
James

Hi James,This has been the subject of many threads, MSTS was born in 2001 and required the best graphic card available then.So todays cards don't mean that you can run on full settings so you will find that you still after tweek you setting down. I have just installed a new card which placed all my setting by default on maximum, and now I am running just slightly above what I had before.
After that I got a new 19" Monitor this again put them at maximum, but I still had to turn them down.

Thanks for the replies and sorry I have been so long in getting back. Setting up a new machine takes ages and getting all my programs to work on Windows MCE 2005 is a nightmare.
Tried Trainstore but it seemed to disagree with something on my machine so I had to remove it. I have removed one of the routes and all related stuff that I do not use much using Route Riter for reference. The problem is now cured although I was still not near the magic number for consists even with the route installed ????. As with the keyboard problem it must be something about this new machine or the OS. A number of people are having major problems with other programs according to the relevant News Groups with Windows MCE 2005 especially since the July Windows Updates and Roll up 2 which was already installed on my new machine. As for the graphics I have turned them down a little from the maximum settings.
Thanks for the help

Yep that's right John. Its full title is Windows XP Professional Media Center Edition 2005. Apparently Vista is going to be an improvement on the Above OS without the bugs of MCE 2005 or so they say on the MCE Newsgroup. Personally I will not look at Vista for a long time yet although this new PC is Vista compatable. I did'nt move to Xp from 98 until SP1 had been out for a while and the major bugs ironed out.
