Indeed, the absolute earliest I will place something on CD ordering is when the publisher/distributor tells me that our package has physically left his building but in general, when Dad calls me to say that it's arrived that is the only time it'll go on to the CD ordering screen.

I absolutely detest pre-ordering both as a buyer and a seller.

When you see it on our CD ordering screen, chances are extremely good that we physically have it in stock right at that moment.

Same holds true for the community CD's, until testing is finished and mass-duplication has not just started but also seen about 50 or so CD's finished we don't put it online either.

From what I have seen it looks better. Should have mine in a few days in time for the show at Hoddesdon.

I don't think this has been mentioned before but is anyone else having trouble using this add-on, along with ECE1 on Train Store? I unstored everything before installing and it recognised that I had ECE1 during installation but in Train Store it only shows ECE2 and I can only select part 2 activities that run on the Peterborough-York section only.

ie, Activity 02_09 is missing.

Any ideas/help?

Thanks
Sarah

As I understand it the best way to get both parts working is to unstore everything from trainstore then delete ECML from the MSTS Folder and then install both parts

Hi John

Thanks for that - I've just unstored everything and am trying a proper run of MSTS to check if it'll show the other activities. It's taken about 5 minutes so far but I'll try your suggestion next.

Hi John

Thanks for your continued help. I uninstalled and removed the eb_eastcoast folder, re-installed 1 and 2 and have the same problem with the 'joined' activities not installing.

That thread you linked to helps a bit but I think my problem is that I have MSTS installed to my D: drive and the installation programs don't automatically pick the folder up. I have tried various options when installing the joining bit such as pointing to MSTS or the route itself but that doesn't make a difference.

Maybe it's an issue with not having a default installation to the C: drive - I've had other problems such as not being able to unpack activities or even try out the route editor.

If anyone knows or remembers the installation folder for the joining part of the ECE2 installation I'd be grateful if you could let me know.

Sarah

EDIT: Just checked the eb_eastcoast folder and found that the joining installation routine had created a new 'routes' subfolder in there with the additions for joining the route - I moved that to overwrite the eb_eastcoast folder and it appears to be OK. Train Store is now showing 'EastCoast1&2' and all the activities are there. Now to check it's all working with a nice long-distance run.
