Hi
I've just downloaded the activity pack for the wonderful Ashburton Branch route and done an Activity Analiser check as I usually do. Unfortunately, all the activities in the pack come up with 'Missing Files' errors. On checking these, it seems there are missing services. I've since re-downloaded the pack and re-installed the activities but the problems remain. Any ideas anyone?
cheers
Ashley

Thanks Jon
ps. love the work that you & Chris have done with Lion - makes me feel quite humble as I haven't the modelling skills that you guys have and it seems to have all started from my post asking if anyone had a copy of an apparently non-existent model
Kudos to both of you!
cheers

Hi Ashley, you're typing about my Activities
Yes, there are errors atm, but once I've got my MSTS up to full health, I'll give each one a check and maybe cut the stock down.
I've been working with Tony Formoso on and off for a couple of weeks to sort out a problem with my .eng files and he has got some of them back for me.
Sorry for all the problems. I do mess up sometimes but I am learning a lot!
Cheers
Stephen

Hi Stephen
Thanks, just wanted to ensure it wasn't my system at fault - your apologies absolutely not needed, I know how difficult writing activities can be.
Reason for
was nothing to do with your activities, but at my own stupidity at assuming Lion had already been modelled, hence JonB's and Chris Baily's stalwart efforts to build the .!
cheers

Hi Stephen
When you have re-done your Activities as well as using an APK could you also package them up (using RR) as ZIP files.
I have been testing two Activities for Ashburton and I couldn't get the APK's to load properly - got the messages "Damaged Package - expecting more files" but the Zip files worked perfectly.
I think it may be something to do with the way Ashburton is set up as I very rarely have any problems with APK's
Regards
Mike

The problem is that that the RouteID in the .trk file is route4 and the folder name for the route is ASHBURTON.
The easiest way to solve the problem is for the activity creator to change the route's folder name to route4 before creating the .apk file. Then the .apk file will unpack okay, even for those that have the original route folder name of ASHBURTON.
I personally prefer .apk files because it is easier to control the overwrites.
