Hi Tony
Then in that case...yes you could alter the amount of daylight hours....although if you have 'Activity analyser' you can simple move the activity to a different time.
You can of course do it in AE itself...but this requires manually altering all the AI traffic times.
Cheers

johndibden - I haven't the Highland Route, but I know the "giant moon" you mentioned. There were replacement .ace files on Train-Sim.com for the sun, moon & night sky. The moon one - Newmoon (or Smallmoon...) solved that problem although it was a bit pixelated.

However, in the editor.env extract that jbilton posted on page 1, there are two parameters in the section for moon.ace:

world_sky_satellite_low_scale ( 200 )
world_sky_satellite_high_scale ( 150 )

which in the SummerClear.env file I'm working on were 400 & 350 respectively. Thanks to jbilton's values the moon is now a reasonable size with the original .ace file.

As for world_sky_satellite_dir_set_colour, there's infinite variety in the hexadecimal colours, eg: default (ffffb573) does a good job...

but for less of a "red sky at night" look (ffffcccc)...

etc, etc
