MSTS UK content

Post by DavidG »

Hi all,
Been out of MSTS for awhile now and just fancied getting back into but UKTS has changed in the time I've been away and I was wondering where to get UK MSTS files now.
I would really like to get back to MSTS but to download new stuff with an hours wait and then 2kb download speed, 40 mins for a 5mb file is just stupid (28k modem days).
I'm a keen member of the MSFS community and am quite used to sites with limited numbers of logins etc to get files but you still get good speeds once in.
I refuse to pay for freeware so need to find other sites with UK stuff (HST's are a favourite), any help would be great.

Regards

David, welcome back to UKTS. I would recommend that you choose a CD from the CD ordering section for £4.50. Included in the price comes a one month premium access which would allow you to download a huge amount of freeware at full broadband speed with no queueing!
Cheers, Dave.

Hi
There are some items on http://www.train-sim.com and odd items on other world sites....but as UK stuff is mostly only of interest to us...it doesn't appear elsewhere.
Cheers

If you want HSTs for MSTS, either buy a UKTS CD or get UKTS Premium, it's the only way.

I can understand your stance, but I don't mind contributing towards the cost of running the website - that is what I believe that my subscription goes towards, not the files that I download from here. I run a couple of websites, and I know what the costs can be - bandwidth is not cheap. :D
