I think they were known as Hymeks on the real railways too, here they're known as Bears...

There are 2 with the WSR, including cabs 'n' sound.
There are also cabs & sounds for it on UKTS...

But I want to clear here that I am not casting aspersions on the model and have downloaded it since my last comment to have a closer look at it. However, I am afraid that I am no artist so would have to leave the reskinning to the experts.I've been after one, too, but drew the line at using the one with the eyes!!

Its actually the same excellent model by Chris Bailey.
So it won't be re-skinned.
They were put onto CD to help raise funds for Diesel preservation.
You can also get a copy by buying the brilliant ELR...again monies go to preservation.

Hi Lazzybugger, your 'Cornish Hydraulics' activity will be far more realistic without any Hymeks as they were rare anywhere West of Aller Junction and the Paignton/Kingswear branch (except for odd trips to Stoneycombe Quarry for ballast workings) so even appearances at Plymouth were few and far between. Workings into Cornwall did occur in the early days but in many years of research I have only ever seen one picture of a Hymek West of St Austell! The Paddington to Bristol and South Wales line would be a better location for some Hymek action and they also worked Worcester trains and carried out banking duties for the Lickey Incline. Hope this is of interest to you and gives you ideas for some new activities
Dave.

Thanks for the info, though you'll find that the Cornish Hydraulics job is my activity!! Though I, too, have only ever seen one pic of a Hymek in Cornwall. However, just to ruin a perfectly good title, there is a bit of Devon in it, too! It's an activity taking the Up Cornish Riviera from Penzance to Plymouth (an hour and a half is long enough for one activity!!). It would seem that Laira had a couple so it would have been good for a change from what has gone before to get one pootling around in the last five minutes.
Cheers
