Class 73 sounds

Post by 3digitdriver »

Hi all im after some class 73 sounds and i noticed that the class 73 sounds that were on uk train sim have been removed. Or i asume they've been removed because theres no picture for the class 73 sounds download and when you click on it it says"unavailable". So what im asking is what sounds would be suitable that are currently availble.

Cheers all loving the web site :D

If you have LSE, you could use the 71 sounds.

If you have LSE from Making Tracks you can do what I did and use their EMU and DEMU sounds.

Edit the eng files so that the first line for the sound reads:

Sound ( "..//..//MT_MW.SOUND_EMU//motoreng.sms" )

and the second

Sound ( "..//..//MT_MW.SOUND_EMU//motorcab.sms" )

If there is a diesel version of your class 73 as well edit that eng file as well to read

( "..//..//MT_MW.SOUND_DEMU//DMSeng.sms" )

and

( "..//..//MT_MW.SOUND_DEMU//DMScab.sms" )

appropriately.

I find these give a pretty good repesentation as the equipment used is basically the same as the SR EMU/DEMU's incuding the horn sounds.
