NIR C3K Issue

Post by colinm74 »

Hi all

Have recently installed Ballyshannon from CD and everything works fine with the exception of the above DMU. When I start MSTS from Trainstore using this DMU and the screen changes to the loading page, I get the following 2 errors popping up...

Failure to load C:\ProgramFiles\MicrosoftGames\TrainSimulator\Trains\Trainset\NIR3000\NIR3000.ENG Line 552

and

C:\ProgramFiles\MicrosoftGames\TrainSimulator\Trains\Trainset\NIR3000\NIR3000R.ENG Line 446

Anyone have any thoughts on what might be causing the error?

Thanks in advance

Hi Mate
Try Re-installing it again & I would extract to desktop & manually drag it to Trainset folder & overwrite where prompted I drive cafs all the time & have done a few Activities with them which were just uploaded this morning & have never run into any problems , If this does not sort it out get back to me.

Would the activity that is causing the problem be C3K Local (For the Ballyshannon Route)? If so It uses the Older Model of CAF Details Below That is were the Problem Lies Just change the player loco to the current download of CAF UKTS ID:12489

Does anybody have the other verison of NIR 3000 Class Railcar UKTSID:12297 ( No Longer Available) ?

Hi Pete,

Thanks for the reply, will try reinstalling it. I had the error report whenever I chose the CAF, be it in explore mode or the CD activities it features in.

Will let you know how I go, but will probably later on this afternoon when I get back from work.

Cheers

Pete

Reinstalling the CAF C3K seems to have done the trick, so am off to download a couple more activities. Thanks for your help. :D

PS Will try your activities once they come onto the D/L page.

Cheers
