I know Vern (of Far North fame) has been playing it for a while now. I dont know much about it - i assume its an addon for msts but dont know.

It looks as if it is from Densha de Go Shinkansen which was released for the PS2 a couple of years ago. Unless it's a new version for the PS3!!

Nah, I'm pretty certain

The track, canetary & most of the scenery shout Trainz at me. The driver & the passengers actually remind me of the Railroad Tycoon intro, but most of this could easily be achieved with Trainz, and plenty of heavy video editing, which I suspect is whats gone on here.
