Installing Dorset Coast

Yes - make sure you have the latest version of the tsection.dat file - available from the file library here. Also you need to have textured sky ticked in options. Try that

Right Tsection installed but no stock and not loading please help
me!!!
EDIT:IT SAYS FAILED TO OPEN TEXTURE FILE
routes\Dorset\envfiles\textures\sun.ace
Then when i click yeees it says TRAIN WORLD INITIALIZATION FAILED!!!

ANY IDEAS:EDIT

What PC spec do you have, have you tried turning your settings down?

Sorry to annoy you

EDIT: Yes i have found it but it puts up an error message saying cannot find file routes\Dorset\envfiles\textures\UKskylow.ace and one with sun.ace

what is this file and how do i obtain it

Well you could copy it from one of the default folders. I think they are the files out of the EUROPE1 folder. Go to routes\europe1\envfiles\textures\ and find the files in there, then copy them from there, and put them into routes\Dorset\envfiles\textures

try that and see how it works.

Well that worked but now its throwing up all sorts of messages should i try uninstalling redownloading dorset coast and then installing it again?

right 2 messages are:
No extended shape data for ukfs3r_srco_1.5m_rs
Failed to open shape file Global\shapes\ukfs3r_scro_1.5m_rs

you need to turn your settings down by the sounds of it. Where are you trying to start from?

A couple of queestions...How much RAM do you have? and the size of your grahpics card?

i assume you have installed UK Fine Scale track as this is required. I think it does say that in the installation notes.

I dont know these questions but since i installed uk Fine Scale there are now only two messages

Failed to open shape routes\dorest\textures\acleantrack1.ace

and when i click yes this comes up

Failed to initialize heading tape

you could copy that from the europe1 folder again. I cant see why you are getting the errors though
