Could any of you tell me if I cam Update Thames - Mersey CD Version 3.2
To Version 4 as I have tried to do this but it did not work. it crashed when loading the simulation.

It is possible. Did you run the batch file for V4 after you had unzipped all the files? I think it was in the last zip file and called InstallMe.bat i think. You need to ensure that the 6 MSTS default routes are available as default objects are copied by the batch file. Also make sure you are using the latest tsection.dat file, downloadable from ukts - check the file library.

If it still doesnt work come back with any error messages.

Still no luck. Installed to the letter so going to leave it & wait & see if there will be an updated CD

I did this Update in FEb & it was NO Problem once I run the correct Bat File make sure you Run v4 one & only the v4 One

That may have been my problem I will give a go if remember right when the cd has finished dosn't automaticly load the bat file. anyway will have a go

Also, once you have run the install bat file you then have to run whichever bat file you want for either steam era or modern era. So there are two bat files to run initially and then one each time you want to swap between steam and modern era's

I am still having tthe same problems What I done is the folowing

Reloaded the cd

Re Download the files incase I had a bad download

It appears that when you run the bat file 4 some files have not copied. I think thats my problem but have no idea. wear the files have gone.

The files that are copied are the default route files, so you must have all 6 default routes installed and available so the batch file can find them and copy them into the right location. I believe the batch file also deletes some unwanted stuff from V3.2 so if you ran it twice the second time around you will get some file not found errors as the files have already been deleted the first time.
