New to MSTS, some add-on advice please?
Hi all
Waiting for my copy of TS to arrive in the post... I'm a veteran of MSFS, so I'm very familiar with the concept of adding freeware/payware to improve the out-of-the-box experience!
Are there any must-have addons that you'd recommend I install straight away?
Also, I'd be really interested to hear of any routes and scenery representing North-East England that you could point me towards.
Many thanks in advance.

Well, here's one for starters, and welcome. Available as a six part download or on CD complete with stock and activities for just £4.50p including P&P plus the bonus of a months subscription to UKTS.

The Highland Mainline is a must get, although only a downloadable version is avalible at the moment, a CD version is in the works
narrow gauge wise, Talyllyn & WLLR are both great routes

As a matter of interest the Yorkshire Coast Railway (YCR) is one of the few remaining CDs available at £4.50 from the CD ordering section of this web site after a certain person asked that no CDs be distributed with his "items" on it.

Do not overlook Pat Dalton's excellent Skipton 1920 route when it is available. it is a model of how a route shiould be presented. Although quite old it is still first class.

Have to Agree with Tony Smedley Its a very detailed route & I from what I'm lead to beleive the 1930's issue was as good if not better Sorry to say that was before my interest in MSTS BloomedTonysmedley wrote:Do not overlook Pat Dalton's excellent Skipton 1920 route when it is available. it is a model of how a route shiould be presented.
