Hi
The file your looking for is 'ttype.dat', which is in the route folder.
However I still haven't found one I like, and it depends what sound regions the route author has put in.
Dave Corfield routes are very well covered BTW.
Cheers

Before I go any further let me firstly say that Railwaves sounds are excellent. The trouble is that they are for old style jointed track, not continuous welded modern stuff. So, perfect for places like the West Highland and small rural routes but not for routes like Dorset etc.
That's Co - Driver - Mike. The one in the other seat.

There are also 'Modern Coach Sounds' by Jeff Ashton / Mark Williamson - although these work with rolling stock rather than a route, it has a nice welded rail ring effect, and a nice flange squeal when slowing to a halt.
