Mark,
Did you look at the Activity Briefing? There is something in there about not exceeding 65 m.p.h. in acertain area otherwise derailments may occur.
I have run this activity myself and had no problems at all, and very enjoyable it was too!

Have you swapped any stock? It sounds like a bounding box issue but the activity works with all the CD stock which was tested for bounding box errors and fixed. If you have changed anything that could be the problem. Also are you running it on the CD version or the download version. If its the download version then its your stock thats the problem.

You should be able to pass the newspaper train at about 80 mph, slowing for the junction ahead. :)

I think you may have missed my point :( Are you using stock which came on the CD version of Dorset Coast V2? Im sure it works fine with that stock.

If you have changed any stock then it may not work because of bounding box issues.

From memory, if its the NPV vans that are causing the problem, then they definitely have a bounding box problem in the download files.

Dave - I suspect its one of the 47's which is causing the problem as the train derails on another train coming the other way too. There was a known issue with bounding boxes on a downloaded Class 47, so if he has a downloaded version that may well be the problem.

Was there a V1 CD, could he be using that and not V2?

Laurie,

There never was a V1 CD, only V2, on which all the included stock was checked for bounding box errors.

Thanks Dave - thats what i thought. As it works fine on my computers and no one else has raised a problem. Its strange :(

All i can suggest is that you remove the stock and try reinstalling it. Make sure you dont have another Class 47 installed from elsewhere

Hi all,
installed this activity earlier on it seemed to run ok then for some reason MSTS crashed and the generic error box popped up.

Have just tried to load it activity editor on MSTS and its now sayin that the following file is missing:-
Trains\Consists\LAD_wanderers Day Out.Con

Can anyone please point me on how to obtain this consist.

Thanks

Andy
