Oh dear, this thread might have changed my mind. I've been waiting for ECE since it was announced and was going to get it...
But the screenshots on EB's website look good, King's Cross does look good.
I really don't know what to do :-?
Also, I was hoping for better catenary and wires but I guess it's default MSTS

Centenary poles aren't default. Luckily.

The only major criticism for me with this route is the distance between Kings Cross station and Gasworks tunnel - why have made it that long? I don't understand that.

I think I'll get it.

I don't think it's a waste, because Mid East is:
1) Semi-ficitonal anyway? 2) It's not set in the modern era and 3) It's getting on a bit now, surely?

For a route that is getting on for 4 years old it can still hold its own compared to alot of other routes. The fact that ECE is "Slightly better than mideast" does that really justify spending £20 odd on it?

Well, I've not bought Mid East and waited for ECE because it's set in the electified era - today, that is.

It seems EB have backtracked on what they were previously saying
unless they announced this ages ago and i didn't see it.
It now seems that ECE is now set in the GNER era NOT the Intercity era
that they had been going on about for years.

Hi Daniel
The answer to me is yes............I don't worry too much on prices if its something I want.
I am not saying I will definately get this addon, but I will not definately rule it out either.
Cheers

Yeah, seen as the most of the screenshots have been with GNER stock

Unfortunately EB seem to be quite secretive on what they do but it has been hinted that you will be able to change from one era to the other. A bit like the L2B Add-Pack.

Also, the HST & 91 sounds are sounding really quite good.
