The models will be different there should be no misunderstandings.
Isn't there the possibility to insert a comment with the modeller name etc.? I know that S files are distributed compressed and/or in binary format, but every end user has the possibility to convert between these formats and see the comment.

IMHO all you need is a mark which states who did it so nobody can claim it is a "perfect fake" and intended to be confused with the original. It lies in the matter of circumstances that the replacements will not deviate too much from the original, but such a declaration in the file should be enough.

In addition, I am sure that there will be a readme stating whose shapes (and files in general) are on the CD. It might even contain a very very careful paragraph containing an explanation, but this paragraph would be read by dozens of people to make sure it does not offend or provoke anybody.

AndiS one for decapod to reply to I think.

Although this thread is devoted to scenery replacement, which obviously must have the highest priority for the community CDs, please keep an eye on the original thread Paul started as Hymek has offered to do some replacement 37s which have been withdrawn.

Fred,

Two items spring to mind bearing in mind Decapod's requirement file name wise:-

FodenLorries.zip Foden Lorries

DDBuses_01.zip Low Headroom Double Deck bus based on Bristol 'K'

How do you feel about the lorry as well as the buses, it would be a help.

Let me know and I'll add you to the database.

John

I have some lorries that were made available for the Gowin to Knowear route by Tom Biggin, who has given permission for me to "de-G2K-ise" and make available.

I am looking for images of the models in the missing files.

e.g. poultry01.zip
contains cockerel01.s and hen01.s

If you load the skyNSEW.jpg sky and the grid it gives an idea of the size and orientation of the models - N is the direction locos face when you are building them.

I am specifically looking for the stately home at the moment.

alan2 has a custom stately home on Peak Rail, it's worth dropping him a line.

I think I found the stately home:

GrandHall01.s

Image

Rather conveniently, Terry usually puts 01, 02 or 03 at the end of his S files, so just do a file search through all your routes folders for *01.s or *02.s and use the Shape viewer to show the models.

Watch out for seasonal texturing

Soaring birds are animated flat images Buzzard01.s and redkite01.s that rotate around a point 50m up with a radius of 14m

my buses are Bristol Lowdekka style buses. and the foden shouldn't be a problem (if my tex guy gets his head in gear lol). Oh by the way would you like high or low detail or even super high detail?

I have stated that I will not be duplicating Terry's wagon if they are to be made available on another site.

This does not apply to stock needed for route CDs where the priority is to get the CDs available as soon as possible.

I would also like to renounce any claim of ownership for anything I have permitted to be included on a CD.

These items now belong to the route riter (ooops writer.)

Now will someone please request a wagon?
I want that 6months membership.

Paul, in your list at the top of this thread I don't see shop01.s, farmhouse01.s and barn01.s

Have they been allocated?
