To Whom it May Concern,

I don't know whether I'm being stooopid again (highly likely), but there seems to be a problem with missing track (and underground trains!) on the section from Probus to Burgullow (ie the bit that was re-doubled on a previous release).

I'm running version 2.4.8 (with the 'fix-it' patch applied) ...

Merry Xmas to One and All :x-mas:

Both Derick & I have driven the main line using the Lat & Long you have supplied and also I have run several times East from Truro to the silos, crossed over and returned to Truro with no missing track. To the best of our knowledge no one else has come up with missing track from this section. 2.4.8a was for the section west of Truro to Chacewater.

My recommendation is to go back to a version update you knew worked, I presume & hope you do back up to such a version, and re-install the patches again. 2.4.7 I understand is the latest CD version available from UKTS if you do not have a back up.

Okay, I'm still not sure what the problem was, but re-installing all the patches sequentially solved it! :o

Maybe I was just being stoopid all along ...

Thanks for your time, and Merry Christmas! :drinking:

No you are being "stoopid". These things happen. During testing I have had similar problems and after tearing what's left of my little hair, a re install from a known good back up has cured it. Derick & I have been none the wiser as to why.

And a Merry Christmas plus a good and prosperous New Year to you and all UKTS forums members.
