Erm now I’m on my knee, forelock in hand and my cap held out. Yep, you’ve guessed it a severe grovel.

Can we please make use of the free installers and try to make installation as easy as possible. It’s just life is short and quite frankly I am a lazy git. There’s nothing more satisfying that pressing ‘next’ a couple of times and it all gets done. A bit like cooking a microwave dinner.

Now, I know it seems like I’ve had sudden entry and accelerated promotion within the ‘something for nothing brigade‘, but really, these installers are the easiest thing to use and it would probably be better all round.

Thanks for reading this and I’ll get off the floor now.

I had to respond to this for no other reason that I cannot believe goingnorth has posted something on here and had NO response in 12 hours!

Well I've just downloaded it so I'll look into it and decide whether to use it or not.

I gotta back Rob up on this one, in most cases a self installer is just the best way to go, and more people will be able to enjoy your work more easily.

Don't forget Kim Durose posted some help in the dim and distant past so that you can make ClickTeam automatically know where the right place to install stuff is.

Could we not ask one user to maybe go through the file library and convert them all to installers. i know its alot or maybe if more than one persons want to have a go use the id numbers to allocate them.

It's up to the authors of the file to present them how they see fit, i'd rather spend the time encouraging them to find easy ways of getting their stuff installed than spend decades repackaging
