Dorset Coast route self destructs on load up

Post by Kentucky86 »

HELP! :-)

Hello folks from Florida...

I have downloaded the Dorset Coast, ran the bat file, patches etc and when I try to load it up my MSTS world meets it's doom.

Even in activity editor it does the same.

I have the UK Finescale...did I miss a step somewhere?

Many thanks and appreciation

Hi Bob
4 favourites are

Tsection up to date?
Textured skies in options
Do you use Train store?
Turn your settings down

Cheers

Hi yes I do use Train store, should I unstore all defaults and then run the Bat? Never had that problem before but this is MSTS.

What I mean by self destruct is when I try to load the route in any mode (including the act editor) I get a send don't send error...

Any ideas and I will check out the train store thing. It is not a settings thing as the Activity Editor could care less about graphics. I suscpect some sort of conflict in the track database.

Also it does need UK Finscale right? I have Highland it it works fine....

Any help will be appreciated :-)

Yes, do you have an upto date tsection.dat ? I had the same problem, installed that (as I forgot to when I reinstalled MSTS after a PC upgrade) and everything's ok so far.

You have a very greatful Yank here... The Tsection did the trick!

Gee now with this great route and Highlands I am finding it very challenging to do real life things :-)
