How do I cure these problems?

ConBuilder has thrown these at me. Any ideas?

The engine file ##BR_AdamsRadial.eng contains an error on the line "Wagon ("and so it couldn't be added to the engines list.
Most probably this line is stating a name different from its file name.
Folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\TRAINS\TRAINSET\BR_AdamsRadial_V1.1

The wagon file 3D_TS_tank_Redline.wag contains an error on the line "Mass ("
and so it couldn't be added to the wagons list.
Folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\TRAINS\TRAINSET\3D_TS_tank_Redline

The wagon file 3D_TS_tank_RoyalDaylight.wag contains an error on the line "Mass ("
and so it couldn't be added to the wagons list.
Folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\TRAINS\TRAINSET\3D_TS_tank_RoyalDaylight

The wagon D5136_DIT.wag contains an invalid type in the line "Type".Please edit this file and make the necessary corrections!
Folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\TRAINS\TRAINSET\D5136

I realise that it's not too serious, and just a glitch that the changing of some line will make a difference, but it peeves me off each time I start Con Builder up.

All help greatly appreciated... :D

I think the errors on the "mass" line were the use of quotes whereas the value should be without them.

I had these errors myself and was able to cure them but I can't remember the exact solutions for the others.

Hi,

Item 1. means exactly what it says. The line Wagon inside the ##BR_AdamsRadial.eng file should read exactly the same as the eng.file name.

Items 2 & 3. may mean that in the line Mass there is no space between the numbers and the brackets ie ("12t") should be ( "12t" ) or even ( 12t ).

Item 4. The line Type inside the D5136_DIT Wag.file should read
( Carriage ) but Ive got one reading ( Freight ) without giving error?. Try ( Carriage ) first.

The only way that I know of fixing these errors is to open the files with wordpad or whatever and edit them. Someone with more experience may know another (correct way) of doing this.
I dont think these sort of errors cause any problems. Make backup copies of the files first just in case.

Hope this helps,
Terry W.

A dead loco should be set as Type ( Carriage )

This will allow it to run at passenger speed on a route which has different speeds for goods and passenger trains. (eg Thames Mersey)

Route writer used to make dead engines as freight but this has now been changed. You may be using a loco file made before the change.

You should also ensure that any parcels vans and NPCS are set to Carriage.
