Hi, just to say, that i'm going on a MidHants trip tomorrow, waking up early, about 6 in the morning.
'King Edward, 1st' is visiting, for the first time ever!
As well as the '9f, 92212' will be running, as well as West Country rebuilt, 'Bodmin', Merchant Navy 'Canadian Pacific',
the 'class 2mt prarie tank, 51312', and to finish it all off, the 'standerd Class 5 might be running.
And for an extra treat, a castle class might be visiting.
Each loco (except for the prarie tank of course) will be taking a 10 coach train, slowing down when it gets to a steep hill!
The locomotives will be working extra hard, and the noise from the King will be terific!

I was there on sunday. Can Pac is laid up in the yard being re-tubed, bodmin is restricted to the mid-hants as it has a problem with its big end so that means cathedrals express is being 37 hauled. 92212 seemed to be fine. King was great fabulous. Nunney Castle was in the wheel drop with a set or two of driving wheels missing. James the red engine was the third running that day. No black five there thats working. The tank was doing ascot -alton shuttles on sun.

Hi guys, i work up the Mid hants, at Ropley station,
Can Pac is still out of service after that bolier tube let go on the main line,
Bodmin is out of traffic as a precaution, waiting the report from the Canpac Incident.
The Standard 5 is back in steam again, after its major over haul.
Thomas {J94 conversion} is having his tyres done
James {31625} has reached the end of his life time i am afraid
Douglas {another J94 conversion}, i dont know whats happening with him
9F is back, after work to bring it upto mainline standard, but with a limit of 60mph, i cant see it happening.
King Edward has moved on
This year, we will have a Duke visiting as part of a engine swap, where the standard 5 will go to the dukes home railway for a few weeks.
Its all on the Watercress line's website, http://www.watercressline.co.uk
