REQ: Paddington - Penzance CD

Post by carl2178 »

Hi

I was wondering what stock you actually get on the formentioned CD? Is it all steam or is there some more modern stuff?

TIA

The cd contains only Great Western steam and relevant stock but the route is excellent and doesn't look wrong when inhabited by hydraulics, 50s, etc. There are some areas where you will notice omissions if running diesels, such as Laira depot buildings, Whatley quarry etc, but I would still heartily recommend this for 'modern' traction fans. The Royal Albert bridge is superb, as are the major stations and the sea wall. Get it!

It'd be a strange route without stations

Scenery is still being added i believe. Some sections are done, the remaining sections will be filled with regular patches, as has been the case so far. :)

Im really looking forward to doing some really long activities for this route. I know ive been promising for a while now, but i need a substantial block of time to get a 4 or 5 hour activity done. Probably in excess of 200 hours :( When my current commitments to Dorset Coast and Mid East are done it'll be my next project - unless something else comes along. :( :)
