It's a quite good route! You can also look for the London and South East, even if the route is set in the seventies. It's a very very good route, but the frame rates are sometimes a bit low.
And there will be a new london penzance cd, but the route is only part scenerised.

Thames Mersey, MidEast, London South East, London Brighton Express, Paddington Penzance...

All available from CD Ordering on the front UKTS page, and a couple can also be downloaded (Thames Mersey and Pad-Penz).

I can recommend "Scottish Central"... it's a great modern route, even though only partially scenerised around the Edinburgh area... sadly, there'll be no further updates to this route!!
I'm keeping my eye out for the forthcoming Highland Route and "Great eastern 2"... London to Ipswich by Making Tracks!

North West England V.2

Post by OTTODAD »

And there is the North West England - V.2 route at UK-TS, covering this area stretching from Liverpool to Blackpool, Lancaster and Manchester:

It's a HUGE route and you will need some spare space on your hard disk to accommodate it's 495 TRAINSET folders !

One downside is that having electrified track sections with overhead wire gantries as well as non-electrified tracks all of the route is "Electrified" but the overhead wire is 1500 metres high to make it invisible so as not to hang in the air over the non-electrified tracks. One of the shortcomings of MSTS, to be corrected in future Train Sim I hope !

Want to change it's tracks to better looking ones ? Then download this:
http://www.otto-wipfel.co.uk\downloads\tracks-changer.zip showing here 6 of it's 10 options:

Have FUN !!!
