Hi

You may have noticed that I have 4 current activities for the GNEReastcoast route. Have you downloaded and played any of them? They are:

0604 to Kings Cross
Hitchin-Finsbury Park Commuter Service
Flying Scotsman Special!
Flying Scotsman Special! part 2(version2)

If so, I'd like some feedback please i.e. which ones did you like best and why, what improvements could be made, and any general comments about them. I'll be upgrading all of the activities when the GNEReastcoast is fully completed and will take into account any comments.

Seems people must be satisfied, or you'd be hearing about it. I can only say that what I've seen is great, but I've only partially run Scotsman Part 2 (I went through a red signal when I wasn't paying attention -- just goes to show why they don't provide televisions in the cabs of trains!)

There is enough AI traffic, and the "race" with the DMU makes it interesting. My only other comments:

- The stationary trains killed my frame rates, but I have a slow computer. I like the visuals, though, so I wouldn't suggest you put fewer static consists in. I can remove them easily if I want to.

- It would be more intereting at the start to bring the loco from a siding and couple it to the carriages. I do that in my own activities, since I get a better sense of beginning and end.

Overall, great work, and please keep them coming.

Cheers for the feedback. Glad you enjoy my activities. Yep, that Flying Scotsman Special part 2 activity is quite fun even if I do say so myself. The bit where you're running alongside the DMU on the slowline for a few miles or so is my favourite bit too. Happened by fluke that it turned out that way though!

My next activity '0725 to Kings Cross limited stop' will be uploaded ASAP. Currently though, I'm trying to work out what is causing an indefinite red signal on the approach to Welwyn North. Once I've worked that out and tested it, it should be available for upload. Gets a bid tedious though, having to keep playing the activity and then only to realise half-way through there's a slight problem with it.

After that, not sure if I'll be creating any more activites for quite a while though, due to me being busy with my job and working from home too. Allthough, I will update all my GNEReastcoast activities when the route is fully completed.

I hope more activites continue to be uploaded by other members for the GNEReastcoast. Any of you lot working on any?
