Trains without sound/cabview

Post by hertford »

Is anyone tired of downloading a train and it has no cabview or sound?
Should they include cabs and sounds with the download?
Or should it stay as it is?

If every train had cabs and sounds it would make the file sizes larger and use more bandwidth. Also if you have the same loco in two liveries then you would have to download the cabs and sounds with both locos which would be pointless.

I actually prefer the trains not ot have cab and sounds unless they are custom made for that particular train. Normally I use the sound and cab I prefer.

Don't forget how difficult it is to make cabviews. I took one look at the cab editor and never went back.
And now I've volunteered to make a cabview for the Groudle project.

No point duplicating the same cabview in a million different versions of the same model.
You just need to figure out how to install them !
