Error in load screen

For some reason when I go into MSTS, the screen locks up just when I click on 'Drive Train'. The error message says 'Error in load screen widget file: activity.dat'. I don't know what I've done wrong, but can someone come up with a solution. Thanlks

If you've still got all the routes, try re-installing the program. If you haven't got all the routes, re-install the program without uninstalling it.

The error is exactly where it says it is, try looking in your folder
Train simulator\GUI\Widget\activity.dat

The activity.dat file is changed if you have installed one of the transparent controls add ons etc. If this is the case, then there may well be a file activity.bak - rename this back to activity.dat and try that, it may be all that is wrong.

Otherwise you might well need to reinstall MSTS to fix whatever else might have been changed in this folder.
