Are there many of you out ther like this news report this morning...
Philip Bell (47, batchelor) has spent £15,000 and travelled 20,000 miles to see every live show Bonnie Langford plays. He usually takes his mum with him.
He is quoted as saying "I don't have too much time for other hobbies, but I do like steam trains"

Strange that Kylie and Shakira get mentioned in the same thread - I met both of them this month (one of the perks of being the Service Delivery Co-ordinator for Eurostar!). Kylie is really friendly - she also did some advertising work for Eurostar. Shakira is a little strange. She arrived from Paris last week and was accompanied by a dozen 'assistants' including a huge bouncer type. She wore a big floppy hat and dressed down so as not to be recognised. She was not at all talkative - I wonder how good her English actually is and she spoke South American to her asistant when I spoke about some of the arrangements. The rediculous thing is, of the 686 people on the train, the only people who knew her were in her party. To everyone else she was anonymous and the 'over the top' protection was not required. Two things struck me from the meetings - one, both of them are minute (as in tiny) - struggling to reach 5 foot - and despite how great Shakira looks in the Wherever, Whenever video, it obviously was made with a lot of clever editing and make up (which I found very disappointing)...duckweed wrote:Kylie is fine, but when I tried her in 3D Canvas she wasn't co-operative, wouldn't wear the engine drivers hat. So I told her you wear that hat girl or you don't drive my locos...no way does she get to drive them nude.
Your thoughts and comments welcome as usual.
