Driver Fireman removal.

Post by Heatonnorris »

I just puchased a commercial addon and the included steam engine is absolutely superb with incredibly good sounds. So why am I complaining?
I don't know if this is due to colour blindness or someone with an unusual sense of humour, but the crew are wearing 'pink' jeans,I did'nt believe my eyes at first, but there's no mistake.
They've got to go,I'm getting strange looks wherever I travel on the Bala Hub.Can someone please tell me how to remove the crew.

Hi
Have a look in the eng file.
If they are added via a freight animation line....you can safely remove it.
However if they are part of the loco shape...your a little stuck.
Best think would be to reskin the crew...into what you would consider more suitable attire.
Cheers

Thanks Jon,
I'll have a look at the eng file, but if it needs more than that I might have to put up with it.

Hi Jimmy,
Just in case you have trouble with pink's and blue's,here's a screenshot, the pale blue is the one on his shoulder.
I can't work out how to post the screenshot, just take my word for it,I don't have trouble with pink's blue's or any other colour.

Right,
first you need to get it online on another site, such as an atomic album or photopic.net. Once it's online, go to it and right click on it and select properties. You will then see a little box that that contains the images URL. Copy it, then come back here, start to make your post, then past the URL between two Img tags like you do with a quote.
Hope this this makes sense and is helpful!

Nope, he's not color blind- It's the engine crew on the WSR. If anyone wants it, I've got a quickie replacement texture that will change the trousers to light blue. At some stage, I hope to get this up on the WSR site, but at the mo anyone who wants it e-mail or PM me.

Heatonnorris, you have pm :)

Thanks Muz for the info regarding screenshots,I did'nt have a clue how to do it.I'm used to a flightsim forum here in Australia where we just click on an icon to bring up the screen for posting screenshots.

No worries Jim,I did'nt take offence. With a loco crew dressed in pink,I reckon I'd have to see it to believe it.
