Return Football Special

Post by king125 »

Has anyone been able to complete this activity, as when reversing out of the sideings I get held up by a red ground signal, waited there for over 5 mins but I gave up in the end :(

Just one other thing I noticed this activity is listed with NWE2 acts instead of the WCW activitys

I take it you have pressed tab to see if you get permission.

Ok sorted it now, what I did was go forward a short distance then into reverse the ground signal stayed red , but it was a restriction not a stop.

I went forward before starting the train , I went as far as the ground signal in front of the train which was also at red but after a few presses of the tab key got permission to pass then I rerversed back and the ground signal at the rear of the train was still at red but but it was a restriction not a stop.

I am the author of this activity. Don't know why it is under NWE but maybe I entered the wrong info.
I am surprised about the problems getting out of the sidings. I must have run the activity testing at least 15 times and never encountered this problem. As usual it appears that MSTS runs differently on different computers.
Activity authors usually like to know how it has been received as someone once wrote you only get comments if something is wrong. And that is the reason that it is on this forum.
Has it run OK other than the problem highlighted above? It should be possible to get back to Brighton on time although on my runs it is very tight.
Thanks to everyone who has downloaded it at least it makes you think that hopefully your efforts have brought some enjoyment.

No further problems, arrived at Brighton 10 mins late, but I did enjoy your activity and look forward to any future ones you have planned.

Hi Lemberg here, I wonder if it is because we don't all have the same slver timestep settings in the default wagon file.
