British PO Wagons

Post by jbilton »

Hi
For those that like the older type stock...Marcel has been knocking out PO wagons "like they're going out of fashion".

Nice spot Jon, they will certainly be right at home on TM version 4.

Hi
Doing a search under "Marcel" on TS.com I've just counted 15

10x 16/07/2005
4x 10/07/2005
1x 11/06/2005

....but there maybe more on his own site.

Cheers
Jon

Edit.... the earliest file is a version1 of the Forth and Cylde.

I searched his name on ts.com and got 14 wagons and a load of other junk.

I wasn't impressed.

The first batch look like the 3DTS coal wagon which is a MR design not used for PO wagons.

All the textures look rough. Poor plank detail.

I've not checked out the liveries so I can't say if they are authentic.

The textures for the chassis are identical to those used on the 8 plank wagons I posted here in 2001, which in turn were actually taken from Ian Morgan's tutorial on building 8 plank wagons for 3D Canvas (I used them with his permission).

I believe Marcel has said they are re-skins of Ian Morgans originals
