Has anybody got any plans to make LeShuttle trains with the car and lorry transpoter wagons etc?

It would seem the obvious requirement to go alongside Eurostars, Class 92's and EWS trains through the tunnel. I can think of some really wicked activities with lots of shunting and stock variation on either side of the ditch.......c'mon guys

I noticed a pile of odd looking stock on the new line near the Leeds Castle M20 exit and just before Ashford in a huge set of new sidings yesterday - all looked very "continental"
probably being used for the CTRL construction

And of course don't forget the slowing down to walking pace at the UK end to allow all your 2D illegal immigrants to leap off and scatter before arriving in Dollands Moor. If you set the route activity to people 100% you will probably only be able to run 2 trains a day through the tunnel!!!!!

OK, how do these look? I've been meaning to get around to knocking them up for some time now, just needed a bit of a push. Won't be available just yet, no point releasing them without the loaders and the locos.

Have you any idea just how big these things are? 26m long, 5.575m tall and about 4m wide, and normal trains are 28 vehicles with a loco at each end. Not much shunting goes on though.

Just cut and paste everything that appears under the pic after you upload to the albums, or go and find it in the albumand press the 'i' button and it gives you tags there you can cut and paste.

The le shuttle locomotives are some of the most powerful locomotives in the world, each rated at about 9000hp.

Yeah, each locomotive has to have the ability to pull the whole 26 coach train out of the tunnel unassisted if one of the power cars fails - that includes the weight of the dead loco - phew:)

I've got all the scale drawings for Le-Shuttle, might have a go at that one if nobody else is...
The bo-bo-bo arrangement will be amusing to try and do if nothing else
